The story behind
Eastern Point.
Eastern Point was born out of a simple frustration: too many clients were receiving advice shaped by the interests of large firms rather than their own. Advice that was slow, overly cautious, and disconnected from the commercial realities they were facing.
We set out to do things differently. To build a consultancy that puts the client's objective at the centre of everything — and that has the expertise, independence, and agility to deliver on that promise.
The name Eastern Point is inspired by the Orwell Bridge in Ipswich — a structure that represents strength, clarity, and forward momentum. For us, it captures exactly what good property advice should look like: well-engineered, purposeful, and built to last.
Time spent doing something doesn't reflect the quality of the advice. What matters is how well you understand the problem — and how clearly you can solve it.
We are based in East Anglia but operate nationally and for international clients. Our roots give us genuine local market knowledge that larger, London-centric firms simply cannot replicate. Our reach means we can handle complex, cross-border instructions with the same level of care and expertise.

Our founder brings a rare combination of legal and commercial property expertise, built across years of practice with established firms throughout Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. Before founding Eastern Point Advisory, they worked extensively across the legal profession — advising on matters ranging from straightforward transactions through to complex, large-scale infrastructure projects.
That breadth of experience spans corporate clients of all sizes, private individuals, family estates, and everything in between. It means we approach every instruction with a level of rigour and commercial awareness that goes beyond traditional surveying practice — understanding not just the property, but the legal, financial, and strategic context around it.
